Treatment
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a medical system that has been evolved over thousands of years to prevent, diagnose and treat illnesses. In TCM, the body’s vital energy (Qi) flows along the meridian paths in the body that keeps a person’s health in balance. Qi is made up of Yin and Yang energy flows. When one of them is imbalanced, illness occurs. TCM treatments rectify the disharmony of the Yin and Yang energy in the body. It is a holistic approach that targets not just the ailment but also its root cause. Every treatment is customized to suit each individual's needs. My First TCM Clinic uses a combination of treatment methods; Chinese medication, Acupuncture, Cupping, TuiNa (TCM massage) and Scrapping or GuaSha.
TCM treatment has been effective for most types of pain. For example, headaches, neck and shoulder pain, gastric pain, waist and leg pain, back pain, muscle aches, acute sprains and sports injuries.

Wellness
My First TCM Clinic practitioners aim to improve your overall health. Illnesses arise when our meridians have blockages thereby causing imbalanced Qi (Yin and Yang energy) flowing through various organs and tissues. In general, our body organs are influenced by Yin and Yang.
Yang organs: Stomach, Large Intestine, Bladder, Gallbladder and Small Intestine
Yin organs: Spleen, Lungs, Kidney, Liver, Heart

In TCM, our whole body is one connected system with Yin and Yang energies flowing in harmony, which is in a state of good health. When one energy is in excess and the other is deficient, it means an imbalance of energies in the body. This is when aches, pains and illnesses arise.
For example of results when energies are in excess:
Excess Yang - bad temper, nosebleeds, sore throat, headaches, face redness
Excess Yin - poor blood circulation, tiredness, cold hands and feet, pale
Therefore, more and more people consult TCM Clinic to restore balance in the body.
